September 1st was the 60th #anniversary of the founding of the Royal Anglians. I was invited to an amazing Drumhead service & parade at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. We should be so proud of “the Vikings” and “the Poachers”, a.k.a. 1 & 2 Royal Anglian Brigade, who are based at Kendrew barracks in Rutland.

A march past (click to see a video) was part of the Royal Anglian’s regimental day, in the presence of HRH the Duke of Gloucester; together with military bikers, cadets and many veterans plus their families, many from Rutland. The Regimental family feeling was tangible.
