June 28th. In Rutland we have many serving military. Reservists & veterans. Today at the end of Armed Forces Week we held a service of celebration in All Saints’ Church & a party in the park afterwards. Thanks to all those involved at RAFA, the Royal British Legion, Oakham Town Council and the British Army.
It was also a pleasure to be invited to RAF Wittering to attend their Sunset Ceremony. Thanks to Station Commander Wing Commander Joan Ochuodho.
