2nd June – Leicestershire & Rutland cadet force officers were two of 12 counties represented at the Commission Parade at Belvoir Castle. A spectacular event, with parade, bands & a great picnic at the finish. It’s fantastic what volunteer officers make possible. The cadets gain leadership skills, work in teams – and have fun. It sets them up well for future life, whether in or out of the armed forces.
